Dave, I was in Žaclér,  Czech Republic visiting my wife’s family.  Žaclér is in
north-eastern Bohemia close Poland, and boarders the eastern boundary of the
Krkonoše (Kerr-con-oh-shé; Giant Mountain) National Park,.   From earlier
visits I knew there was a vintage snowmobile behind a cabin in the park, so
I took a hike to see if I could find it.  What I found is a Soviet build
Buran double track snowmobile.  I think it is from the early 1970’s.  It has
twin brake handles, electric start, reverse, and a horn.  It is still in
good shape, and a policeman from Žaclér said the owner had been using it.
In Czech, Buran means a 'Dude with an attitude'.
