AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. 

THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT
AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE
WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.
 AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

Sled Restored probably 7-9 years ago
and acquired by me from Kadyville, NY.

She runs and drives great...right now!    We'll drive it onto your trailer.   I've decided ...I can't keep them all.  This one's a sweetheart.

Here is a list of the items of interest and their condition:

Fuel Tank- Good.  Is in service.   I probed it with a Boroscope and it has a rusty-film on the inside surface above fuel.  Fresh fuel in it now.
Seat- Fresh, perfect with the proper "grain" in the material surface.
Hood & Tunnel- Excellent  No rust holes or bondo.
Engine- Perfect compression, runs and idles great.
 Does not look to be rebuilt or repainted.
Track- Good.  No rips or tears with medium-lite weather-check. 
Sprockets- Good-Very Good, no broken or missing teeth.
Bogies & Suspension- Very Good. All present and turn with NO signs of weather checking on all 12 bogies.  All springs are good.
Lighting- Excellent, all work.  By factory design, the headlight and tail light "Generator" runs on the primary clutch as the Kohlers had no lighting coils back then.  The previous owner did not have the generator aligned correctly thus the large, black stripe on the clutch.
Brakes- Ahh, non-existent for this year of sled.  Back then, real men didn't need brakes.  You just planned ahead, dodged obstacles and smoked your cigarette while wearing your leather ear-flap cap.... Because, with  pride, YOU HAD A "SNOW MACHINE", and everyone else you've ever known, didn't.

The astute Armand Bombardier connoisseur will have noticed that the secondary clutch is a helix design ...that was on there when I acquired it too. (Probably because the pin-type clutch often slipped
if the belt got wet or worn, which it always was)  So, I have included an OEM replacement pin-style secondary clutch (at high cost) that is
perfect and color-matched to be included at no charge.  
A Spankin'-new OEM belt (see pics) is included too.
