AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

 AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

For Sale: 1974 Massey Ferguson 444WT (Wide Track) Ski Whiz vintage snowmobile with electric start. I recently restored two of these,
one 444 wide track and one sport track. I always wanted a MF444 
snowmobile to match my restored 444 Massey tractor. However I do 
not need two of them especially with the amount of snow we have 
gotten lately. This sled is sold with a bill of sale only and you will 
need to get it registered which I hear is much easier in Minnesota or
Wisconsin, Iowa is much tougher. The motor is a JLO 2F-440-7 model 
with 436cc which has 40HP at 7000rpm's. Sled weighs 375lbs dry 
weight and holds 5 1/2 gallons of premixed fuel. Motor has 170lbs of compression in each cylinder!! I put new crank seals on PTO and Mag side and cleaned the carburetor thoroughly. Sled was stripped and all metal parts were sandblasted and primed. All bolts, nuts washers were either ground or replaced with new. Track is in awesome condition and like new or I would not have even tackled restoring this one because good wide tracks are hard to find. The sled has 812 original miles and it also has electric start! All lights work including tail/brake light and dash lights. Has all new fuel lines. The paint used was Massey Ferguson spec. paint for the 444WT and I rate the paint job an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 because of some orange peeling and rougher spots on the tunnel. Has all new graphics, covered seat and a new windshield. Don't get me wrong it still looks amazing for this old of sled and I get many many compliments when I show it to people.
A couple of things it could still use would be a new fuel tank gas cap and handle bar cover pad.
