TRUE VALUE BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

1970 Johnson Skee Horse Electric Start & CUTTER

Turn heads on the trails with this nice original combo !!!  
1970 Johnson Skee Horse Wide Trac with matching 1970 factory original
Johnson Cutter.  It features fully functional Reverse and Electric Start.

This is a complete and well running sled that just needs a paint job and a few
little details to be a 10!  The cutter is fantastic, with No chips or cracks or other damage. Everything is complete and original, except for a few new parts under the hood. In the same family since purchased new in Illinois.  Also included is the original owners manual, a brochure, and a guide to snowmobiling.  Under the seat you will find several original dented but unopened cans of Johnson Skee Horse Oil and a few other odds and ends.

More on recent service:  This snowmobile was not used for several years.
 This winter, it was trailered and taken to a shop that works on motorcycles 
and snowmobiles.  While there, the gas tank was removed and the inside was 
cleaned.  Both carburetors were cleaned and rebuilt with new internal parts.  
One ignition coil did not work, I had them replace both ignition coils.  It has a 
new air cleaner element and a new battery.  It has all new fluids.  
There may have been a few more items, those are the ones I recall.

Also, it needs a good cleaning.  I believe some areas, like the seats on the 
snowmobile and cutter will clean up very well.  If you look closely at the cutter 
seat, you will see the orange is brighter in the middle.  That is where I spent a 
moment cleaning it.  Also if you look at a photo showing the left side under the 
hood, you will notice the paint is nice there after I wiped away some grime.
