This is a very rare, all original Abe Mathews Trailmaker snowmobile. They sold a lot of neat accessories for these, like wheel kits for summer use, ice augers for ice fishing, snow blades etc. It is a rear engine snowmobile that features the original Kohler four cycle engine (which runs great, starts easily every time, even after a long of sitting). It has some neat features like forward and reverse gears, and a pneumatic throttle (no cable to freeze up). It also has the original optional lighting package. The lights worked until recently, the bulbs burned out and need to be replaced. They are just simple flashlight type bulbs. The track is in good shape. It has the original seat with original covering. The windshield is on the sled, but is off in a few of the pictures (I remove it when I trailer it on my open trailer). The front Trailmaker decal is now missing a piece after our last highway ride.
