I
GET EMAILS FROM OWNERS ASKING ME WHAT I THINK THEIR SLED IS WORTH.
THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS -
APPEARANCE
- CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION
- RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE - ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER
PAPERS AND SO ON.
I CREATED THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST
REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER
THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN
SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN
THIS
GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED. AFTER
ALL A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.
I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.
I
DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.

This
auction is for an nice 75 Rupp Nitro F/A rolling
chassis. There is no
engine, carburetors, pipes or airboxes included.
They are listed in other auctions. Carburetors in photo are not included
and will be sold seperately. I had this thing running great and very fast
a couple of weeks ago and then burnt one of the pistons. It had the 340
RS motor in it. Now that's apart on my bench and will be sold seperately
at a later date. This sled has a beautiful seat and hard to find side pad.
One small 1/2 inch tear by the corner of the taillight. The ski's are not
the original aluminum ski's but are aluminum racing ski's I installed.
Original hood was repaired in the front, (very nice job), and sprayed with
a spray can so I could ride it this winter. Bottom front fiberglass piece
is a good used original. Lower side panels are kind of rough. These can
be bought new from the Rupp Shop for 100 each. There is a 7/8 stainless
drag bar installed on it now. The original bars are listed in another auction
currently. Tach was working, lights were working. Included is a exhaust
temperature gage, but not the leads. New throttle cable will stay on sled.
Has a all rubber rupp track installed. No cleats, not studded. Track is
in very good shape as are the hifax and magnesium slide rails. One suspension
mounting hole on the right side is elongated. Back of tunnel has a small
tear on each side. Tunnel has not had any repairs.
Winning bid: US $810.00
