I
GET EMAILS FROM OWNERS ASKING ME WHAT I THINK THEIR SLED IS WORTH.
THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS -
APPEARANCE
- CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION
- RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE - ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER
PAPERS AND SO ON.
I CREATED THESE PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY. JUST
REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE WAY UP OVER
THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN SOMETIMES A SLED CAN
SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN
THIS
GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED. AFTER
ALL A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.
I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.
I
DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.

The
sled is one of the first Arctic Cat snowmobiles made from production.
The snowmobile would appear to be a very Rare Tin Lizzie Arctic Cat
model 120-D. The unit is red and white with the Arctic Cat label. The engine is a Kohler 8HP featuring a cast iron sleeve and ball bearing drive. The sled is also known as Arctic Enterprises last heavy weight snowmbile produced. The track is steel with metal gearing and sprockets that ride on wood runners. The skis are known as "snow skis", the skis measure 7.5" wide by 43" long. Now for the repairs that are known to be needed. The seat is missing, cables will need replacing, windshield is broken, motor will need to be checked out, and some paint & lube. The snowmobile is being sold AS-IS.
Winning bid: US $405.00
